LE PATROL HOSTAGE REScUE
2 days (16 hours) $500
NEW FOR 2027 - Patrol Officers are tasked with conducting hostage rescues at a rate far greater than SWAT and must be trained and prepared for this reality. Patrol Hostage Rescue is a hybrid live-fire, FoF course to teach officers the tactics and accountability required to effect a rescue. The class begins on the range where precision fire delivered at speed from various distances is covered. Live-fire topics covered include: application of fundamentals under pressure, sight confirmation requirements, levels of accountability applied in marksmanship, and movement. Live fire accounts for 75% of the overall course with the duty handgun and patrol rifle receiving a 50/50 split. The remaining quarter of the course is where the marksmanship required to rescue a hostage is tested against the tactics of opposition. This block of FoF will include skill based drills in an NLTA environment and scenario driven FoF. Topics in this block include: priorities of life, hostage rescue tactics, solo, partner, and small team application, and communications.
