CARRY is for the Armed Citizen looking to safely, effectively and purposefully carry a concealed handgun. This 2-Day course uses a variety of teaching methods to build an overall understanding of the entire personal safety, concealed carry lifestyle. Day-1 will focus on carrying and employing the handgun in a live-fire environment. We will cover, equipment selection, set-up, drawing the handgun, deceptive draws, combative/opposed draws, movement from the draw, additional movement types, use of cover/concealment, one-handed draws and combative marksmanship. Day-2 offers CARRY participants the opportunity to move past traditional flat-range learning and we cover, situational & spatial awareness, basic combative movement, holstered weapons retention, auxilliary tool access & use, and Law Enforcement interaction. During Day-2, there is NO live-fire and the entire block is taught using force-on-force conversion weapons. Drills will be structured to simulate real world encounters while allowing individuals to freely act within their own skills and "win" there fight. For Day-2, all FoF conversion kits, PPE and ammo are included in the course tuition.
